Osteopathy is a complete medical system which puts primary emphasis on efficient and elegant movement. This may be used purely to treat bodily pain but has far-reaching implications for health and general well being.

Osteopathy can consist of gentle soft tissue stretching, rhythmic movement, and easing of passive joints, as well as traditional high velocity thrust techniques. Accurate diagnosis is the prerequisite of successful treatment and you will spend up to one hour on your initial visit. You may be surprised how this treatment can increase the realignment of structural abnormalities and deviations.

Charlie also uses Acupuncture as appropriate in his treatments. This uses fine disposable needles, to stimulate the body’s own natural healing mechanism.

Osteopathy, Naturopathy or Acupuncture can releive Back Pain, Sprains and Strains, Arthritis, Neck and Shoulder pain, Sciatica, Neuritis, Migraines, Menstrual disorders, Constipation, Digestive Disorders, Hay fever, and many more.
Charles Lankester has an unparalleled record of success in treating the following conditions.

* Lower back pain
* Sprains and Strains

About Osteopathy #02

Mark Hagan BSc (Hons) Ost.

Mark is a recent addition to our team
having graduated from the London School of Osteopathy with a BSc (Hons) in osteopathy. He is a member of the British Osteopathic Association and registered with the General Osteopathic Council.

His experience is in treating a wide range of patients from office workers with postural strains to older people with nagging joint pains; and has a particular interest in treating older people suffering with arthritic pain.

A firm belief in the ability of the body to heal itself and regenerate is at the core of his approach to Osteopathy and healthcare. He enjoys the challenge of new cases as much as carrying out a long term treatment plan with someone who may have a number of health issues.

Mark keeps very fit, in particular outdoor circuit training and running, and has completed the London Marathon on three occasions with a personal best of
3hr 09min.
