Lisa Mainz

Psychotherapist & BACP Registered

I offer a non-judgmental space where she offers support to work through what it is that is troubling you. I have experience in working with people from diverse backgrounds around a wide array of issues. My specialization is in bereavement and complicated grief. I have vast experience in working with trauma, PTSD, stress, communication issues, self-esteem, relationship issues, shame, anger and depression.

I was born in South Africa and spent many years working in the USA as well as the UK. This gave me a wider view of different cultures and well as issues that affect one when we experience change. I have started off her career as an Oncology Nurse and went onto study Bereavement Counselling in the USA. I have also studied with The Tavistock Centre as well as at The Metanoia Institute in the UK. MY main focus of therapy is based on Person Centred as well as Gestalt Therapy.

I am a psychotherapist and a registered Member of the BACP and an individual member of the UKCP.

I work within the strict code of ethics of these organisations and I am currently completing an MSC in Gestalt Psychotherapy.
